Biggest supermoon in living memory set for November 14th – Nothing like it again until 2034!
During the event, it will appear up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than an average full moon.
The Moon is always the same size, and the distance varies by only a small amount during its orbit.
As a result, the Moon is roughly the same size in the sky every night. Even though it looks huge on the horizon, it’s identical to when it’s directly overhead.
