Heartwarming moment sea otter is reunited with her two-day-old pup after they were separated during fierce tides
The female pup was lost at sea in San Luis Obispo’s Morro Bay
Marine Mammal Center rescued her and set out to find her mother
Cruised up the bay to see if a female otter would respond to pup’s cries
When one immediately responded they knew they had found the mother
Tossed the pup into the ocean, where her mother pulled her into embrace
